Responsibility & compliance
Responsibility isn't one logo or one claim. It covers the factory, workers, materials, chemicals, processes, product durability and the evidence available for your specific order. We give buyers clear information and use production routes aligned with their requirements.
Standards in our production network may include:
Certification is factory-, scope- and date-specific. We supply current evidence for the proposed facility and material route during onboarding, and buyers complete their own approval process. We don't publish blanket claims like "100% ethical" or "zero-impact denim".
About Ruhrose
Ruhrose was built to close a familiar gap: buyers need suppliers who understand not only how to make a garment, but why the product exists and what commercial risk sits behind the order.
Ruhrose — Apparel Manufacturing Company helps fashion brands and buying teams develop and manufacture commercially relevant hoodies, jersey, denim and woven casualwear, combining product thinking with vetted factory capability and flexible order quantities.
Founder Ruhul Talukder has spent around 20 years across apparel sourcing, product development and manufacturing — including H&M, G-Star RAW and Newstar Group, working across Asian sourcing markets and European fashion businesses. At G-Star RAW his work included denim and wash R&D, product innovation and regular development presentations in Amsterdam. At Newstar he moved from product development into account responsibility and helped grow an apparel account from around £2m to £5m a year.
Those lessons now sit inside a modern manufacturing company: research before development, product-to-factory matching, clear buyer communication, responsible production, flexible quantities and continuous improvement.
